After her shocking return to The Real Housewives of Orange County for Season 18, Alexis Bellino is giving an update. While she has nothing but good things to say about her relationship with John Janssen, she is unhappy with how her role went recently as a “friend of.”
Alexis has shared some of the reasons that she is unhappy with production about it.
It has been a big year for Alexis Bellino!
She just celebrated her one year anniversary with John Janssen and also appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County in the latest season.
It sounds like this has included some major ups and downs for the reality star.
Alexis recently shared a post where she admitted that she was “broken” by Season 18 of RHOC. Luckily for her, it sounds like John has been a rock during the difficult moments.
She praised her fiancé in an Instagram video that celebrated their first year together.
“Where it all began one year ago,” Alexis wrote in the caption and tagged the restaurant The Quiet Woman.
Who would have thought we’d ever meet in life???” continued the mother of three. “And within the next two years I’d your wife.
“It’s crazy to think where we began as friends and where we are now!!!!!!!”
Alexis noted, “I do question God about many things, yet you are not one of them.”
It’s so easy to be with you, even through all the struggles the devil is throwing our way every minute,” shared the 47-year-old.
“None of that matters,” Alexis stated. “God is on the throne.”
She concluded the caption, “I can’t wait to forever be Mrs. Janssen. I love you, Johnny.”
The clip included a series of photos of the couple set to “Love Story (Taylor’s Version)” by Taylor Swift.
Sadly, just a few days later, Alexis opened up about the challenges of her return to Bravo.
The Missouri native began her lengthy post, “I just had a chance to watch the reunion of RHOC season 18. I’m letting everyone know that I’m broken by this season.”
“I was already broken by losing my mom 3 months prior to filming, so it was a difficult decision to sign back on,” Alexis detailed. “Yet, I went in thankful it brought me out of bed and out of my depression.
“But now, I have been beaten down so badly, so wrongly, and so many truths left out. So much left on the cutting room floor that would’ve never brought so much hate to me and my family.”
She emphasized that there is more to John’s lawsuit against Shannon Beador than the public has heard.
There ARE receipts. Many. And They WILL be brought out this week,” wrote Alexis.
She added, “The lawsuit only finalized because the opposition knew we had the receipts to bring to court. She had to pay up because she would’ve lost in court. Ya, she only paid $60k of the $75, but thank you for that $60k,” before commenting, “John gave you a discount.”
The former housewife went on to claim that they had a forensic accountant who determined that Shannon’s ex spent $50k on their relationship in the first year and then $380k over the next 3 years.
According to Alexis, her former co-star had to settle and repay the loan from John because “the evidence would’ve squashed her in court.”
She stated, “It’s unfortunate that I didn’t get the opportunity for these receipts to be shown at the reunion, although they were brought by me and they were VERY available to be shown.
“So now John and I will bring them in our own voice. This is never how I would’ve thought or wanted it to happen.”
“I also want it to be known that I never thought I’d be brought back this season to be the villain,” lamented Alexis. “If I had known that I never would’ve signed.”
The reality star insisted, “I live in love. Not anger or hate or villainous. I truly lay awake every night wondering why it was portrayed this way.”
“Unfortunately, this season made a hit show at my and John’s expense,” she reflected. “I thought my beating all season would be finally advocated for at the reunion and the truth would prevail. Sometimes God has a different plan.”
She promised, “I will now use my own platform and my voice to share the truth with you because I do not live in toxicity, falsehoods, hateful behavior, victim hood or lies.”
“I signed onto reality…. and now I will bring the reality to light,” said the Bravo star.
Alexis ended her caption, “I will never act or become a victim, I will simply live with God and stand in truth. He always prevails.”
